Commercial insulated roller doors

An insulated roller shutter is far more secure than an overhead door, they are manufactured from .07mm double skin galvanised steel as opposed to 0.5mm on a sectional, experience shows that a sectional door is quicker and more easily compromised.

Insulated shutters roll up around a barrel, a sectional door has to go straight up or bend into the building, both these fitting options reduce head room and reduce space around the opening.

There are as many standard plasticote colour finishes in sectionals as there are in insulated shutters, however, an insulated shutter can be powder coated to a specific colour of your choice.

The operation of a sectional door uses cables, springs, wheels and pulleys. An industrial door has a straightforward direct drive motor. This increases reliability, reduces costly repairs and the annoyance of having a door that doesn’t work when you have deliveries to accept and jobs to get out.

Our industrial roller shutters are designed and manufactured to a thermal transmission U value 1.4W/m2k to conform to building regulations, they are an ideal solution for factories, warehouses and workshops where heat loss is important.

Manufactured from double skin 0.7mm galvanised steel they are a very real deterrent to unwanted visitors providing a superior level of security compared to a standard shutters or sectional door.

Curtain – 100mm double skin, 0.7mm pre galvanised steel
End locks – Purposely designed and injection moulded from Nylon 6
Side guides – 85mm wind lock section, pre galvanised 2.5mm mild steel
Side angles – 125 x 75 x 7mm mild steel
Bottom rail – Rubber extruded retained in a plastic carrier or safety edge
End plates – Mild steel endplates sized dependant on shutter size
Canopy – Pre galvanised mild steel formed to slot over the end plates
